MTD has an in-depth dialogue system where it not only matters what you say, but also what you said in the past and a lot of additional factors such as your relationship status, your occupation and bio, your age and gender, your game settings, the current time, and much more!

Description

‘Match, Talk, Date!’ is a modern take on the classic dating sim genre, where you use a dating app to chat to a diverse cast of unique characters and eventually ask them to go out on a date with you! Play how you want and date who you want, both men and women are available!

Can you convince them to go out on a date with you, or are you going home alone?

History

Development started in 2020 during the corona lockdowns as a passion project with the absurd question of "What if your mouse cursor was a life-sized hand?".
While the life-sized hand is still part of the project, an option was later added to replace it by a more normal looking cursor when the game started taking shape in the form of a dating sim.

Since then the focus of the project has been to create a modern take on the classic dating sim genre by using a dating app, where the player is given as much freedom as possible within the conversations.
While most core features of the game are already implemented, there is still a lot of work left to be done, mainly in adding additional content.
